Hmm. In my opinion, we should all respect his decision. From what I've heard, he did a great job with the HG movie, and while it's sad to see someone move on from such a great project, it also gives another person a great opportunity to be a part of it. I'm interested to see who will direct CF.
I totally respect his decision and understand why he made that choice but at the same time I know how much love and respect he had for the source material and I only hope the director they find for the next two movies has the same level of respect for it.
